I am based in Jeffreys Bay, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Love my little beachy town, but venture all over.

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS/ELOPEMENTS?
Yes, I travel to any part of the country or sometimes even a little further. I love adventures. Travel charges only start after 50km from Jeffreys Bay for paved roads. Travel costs are charged at R 6.00 per km for paved roads after 50km from Jeffreys Bay. All gravel roads are charged R9.00 per km to and from Jeffreys Bay. If travel time exceeds two hours on the road, accommodation is charged for one nights stay. If travel time exceeds 4 hours on the road accommodation is charged for two nights stay. International travel 2-3 nights accommodation.

DO YOU ALSO DO FAMILY / COUPLE PORTRAITS?
Yip, yes I do. Family Portraits on the beach, farm / forest setting or at your own home. Sessions are spontaneous, fun with the main goal of a lifestyle feel. Photos that will leave you with memorable feelings. Sessions are mostly done during weekdays. Certain weekends are open, there is an extra fee for weekend bookings.

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR FAMILY / COUPLE PORTRAITS?
YES, if you have a beautiful place you would like to go, I’m in. Travel costs outside of Jeffreys Bay only start after 40km, R 6.00 per km after 40km to and from location. All gravel roads are charged R9.00 per km to and from Jeffreys Bay. If travel time exceeds two hours on the road, accommodation is charged for one nights stay.

HOW LONG BEFORE THE WEDDING/ELOPEMENT SHOULD I BOOK MY PHOTOGRAPHER?
Bookings can be made 18 months- 7 days before the wedding/elopement date.

CAN I BOOK YOU FOR JUST TWO HOURS ON THE WEDDING DAY?
Yes, any amount of time that works for you. If you would like me to just document the ceremony, family portraits and some fun romantic couple portraits. Happy to. Check out packages that contain only 2-3 hours shooting time.

DO YOU WORK WITH AN ASSISTANT?
For weddings exceeding 10 hours photography I take an assistant with to the wedding, who also captures during the ceremony from a guests perspective. With certain destination weddings an assistant might be needed.

HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU NEED FOR COUPLE PHOTOS ON THE WEDDING DAY?
This all depends on each couple and how they plan their day. I need a few minutes for some great moments just the two of you at some point of the wedding day. This can be as little as 5 min or - 45 min. Please keep in mind if driving time needs to be allocated to this time period. Please keep in mind family portraits at some point during the day, best time is usually shortly after the ceremony. Plan out your wedding day schedule carefully and chat to me and we can design what works best for your type of wedding. I’ve designed a crazy amount of wedding schedules. I kinda dig it.

HOW DO I PLAN MY WEDDING DAY SCHEDULE?
Start by checking what time the sun sets on your wedding day. From there choose when you will take beautiful couple portraits and what time the ceremony should be. I’ve got multiple wedding schedules to help plan your unique wedding day. If your wedding is in the autumn wintery months, please remember to make your ceremony early enough to leave some time for photos or still enjoy some light before the sun sets. For summer months, remember it's hot if you make it too early. It's still up to you guys. You can create a beautiful unique day.

WHAT FORMAT DO I SHOOT IN?
I shoot all my weddings in Raw on SD card with an additional CF card shooting a back-up double on jpeg. I shoot with two 5D Canon IV cameras.

HOW LONG BEFORE I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS AFTER THE WEDDING/ELOPEMENT?
After the wedding I send you a few highlights. Previews within 48 hours after the wedding. After the wedding I take more or less 20 working days for elopements and more or less 30 working days (depending on the package) before all the photographs have been perfectly selected and edited in a beautiful story. You can then choose if you want a Wedding album. I also upload the highlights of the wedding day on my website for guests and family to view.

HOW LONG BEFORE I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS FOR A FAMILY SHOOT?
This all depends on the month of your photosession. During Peak times, 15 December - 15 February it takes roughly 11-15 working days after full payment before your images are sent. For the rest of the year it takes roughly 7-11 working days after full payment before your images are sent.

WILL MY IMAGES BE POSTED ONLINE?
I usually put some highlights on instagram to enjoy soon after the photoshoot, depending on clients requirements. I also create a gallery of your image highlights on my website for you and your guests to view.

DO I BOOK A SEAT AT THE WEDDING FOR YOU?
If the wedding package exceeds 6 hours then yes please, that would be great. It does not have to be with the other guests if seats are limited.

DO I HAVE TO DO AN ENGAGEMENT SHOOT?
The engagement shoot can be added to any package and can be done at anytime before the wedding date. It’s super chilled and fun creating some beautiful images. I guide the fun outdoorsy session and keep it very relaxed and spontaneous. There is really no wrong way. 

DO YOU OFFER COFFEE TABLE BOOKS / WEDDING ALBUMS?
Yes I do! My albums are professionally designed with photos that you select and printed an High quality paper. Different sizes are available. Genuine leather covers, linen covers, royal velvet covers. Vegan friendly albums also available in synthetic leather. Bundle packages available if you would like to print parents brag books in smaller sizes. Albums take 5 - 6 working days to design before digital print approval is sent via e-mail to you. All albums are printed in Gauteng.

WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
Lots of couples request the same date, sometimes I get e-mails for the same wedding date just days apart from each other. I can not give the date to a couple before they have not paid a deposit to secure the booking. If I give the date to the first couple without a deposit and tell the second couple I am booked for the day they will find another photographer. If the first couple changes their mind or change their wedding to another country or decides to cut their budget. I then lose a wedding for that weekend. The date is only booked when Deposit is paid within the Invoice validity date. Minimum deposit 25% of package chosen.

I'M STILL SAVING AND WANT TO PAY OFF MY WEDDING DEPOSIT?
Lots of couples are still saving for their wedding when they start planning and receiving quotes. If you would like to book and can not yet afford the entire deposit you can split the deposit in two transactions. This will then be 25% booking deposit fee. Remaining 25% is due 4 months before the wedding and 50% 2 weeks before wedding day.

IS MY DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE IF I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY WEDDING DATE?
A certain percentage of your deposit will be refunded, depending on how long before the wedding date your wedding photography is cancelled.
